I'm Back. Who's Ready to Get Sweaty with ME

kim sauter

Generic Promo.jpg

Hello Ladies! I am super excited to announce that you will now be able to sculpt, tone and dance with me Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday mornings. That’s RIGHT, we are going back to old school time slots and I can’t wait to see all your beautiful sweaty faces again.

My classes will be held at Let’s Dance Studio and will be absolutely FREE for the first week! Due to space limitations you will be required to purchase your free ticket in advance so I can track and account for you.
Purchase your FREE Sweat & Mirrors class here!

SWEAT & MIRRORS is a group fitness class that I have been working on for quite awhile. We will challenge your endurance while sculpting that body. Take your skills to the next level as you shake it with your crew in a music video worthy dance-off to end class. We will work on strength, flexibility and creating long lean muscles while surrounded my music, positivity and BLACK LIGHTS.
You know I am extra so I had to make it extra.

I know what you are thinking, “Coach Kim, I can’t dance.” First of all, I call bullshit and second no dance training required. The last 15-20 minutes of each class will be dedicated to a super fun combination that you will be bragging to your friend about at Happy Hour.

Are you ready? Let’s do this. Bring a yoga mat and face mask if desired. I can not provide towels so feel free to bring your own for extra support. Optional 1.5-3lb hand weights and ankle/wrist weights can be used for increased intensity. DM me for questions!

Travel Diary, Scottsdale

I LEFT MY HEART IN ARIZONA

Excuse the dramatic headline but every time I leave, I DO. Arizona has a huge piece of my heart. COVID is making me feel nostalgic and also allowing me to catch up on destination blogs. I have been traveling to Scottsdale quite frequently over the past few years and I always get questions about what to do where to go and what to see. Here are my recommendations from relaxation to the most important, FUN!

My first tip before going anywhere is to ask people you trust and have similar interests and lifestyles. I can’t take credit for half of these spots because they have been recommendations from friends or friends of friends. Use your network, social, google, etc. to your advantage. I’ve also had the best rapid spray tan EVER for $15 bucks in Old Town. She doesn’t have a website so DM if necessary.

Off the plane first thing, CHECK THE FARE for the Taxi VS. Uber. This could save you quite a bit of money so make sure you look. Once you get to your hotel take time to relax, get to know the property and have a cocktail before you hit the ground running. Not sure about you, I absolutely hate being rushed.

It would be impossible for me to list everywhere but for the sake of organization I’m making lists. I got a tattoo in Phoenix and I honestly have no idea where it was or how to find it! Oops. Ok, here goes:

WHERE TO STAY

Andaz
Hyatt Gainey Ranch
The Sanctuary

The Gainey Ranch is extra special around Christmas time, they have a gorgeous tree and everything is lit up like Clark Griswold threw up everywhere. I did a couples massage in the private suite here at the SPA and can now die happy. No seriously, this is a must do. They have a private massage suite that leads to an even more private hot tub, lounge, shower situation. You can have wine… or beer… or both. Trust me on this, I wouldn’t lead you in the wrong direction. I can’t even take credit for it because it was a birthday gift. Pinch MEEEE.

I love the Andaz as well. They have a fantastic pool area and covered bar with TVs (if you need to watch SportsCenter and also plenty of misters to keep you cool). I like to be in the sun but not the ENTIRE day so you can still chill with your friends while they swim and get some shade if you need. Rooms at this property all have private entrances with your own outdoor space and smaller pools centered in between. There is no other place to stay if you are there in the summer and all the best brunch spots are a short scooter ride away.

The Sanctuary on Camelback Mountain is extra boujee but in the way we want it to be. Also a big WINNER at Christmas time. I have a huge thing for Holiday decor, can you tell? ALL the amenities and being surrounded by Camelback is absolutely breathtaking. This one is a bit further away from Old Town but well worth it!

BRUNCH & LUNCH

Montauk
Farm & Craft
The Henry
Olive & Ivy
Chop Shop
La Grande Orange

Ok, lots to do and see here but my. top TWO are the Montauk and The Henry. Make sure to get reservations for The Henry because it is a scene. In a good way.

DINNER

SumoMaya
The Mission
Citizen Public House
The House Brasserie

I wouldn’t call these kid friendly spots but let’s be honest that’s not what you are here for. I would make the flight for dinner at either SumoMaya or This Mission and then turn back around and come home if necessary. Make sure to get the wings, Sea Bass, Shishito Peppers and street tacos at SumoMaya. At The Mission everything is GOOD. Literally everything. Table side guac is a must and so are the margaritas. You’re welcome.

ENTERTAINMENT

Coach House
The Rusty Spur
BODI - Personal Training w. Sarah
Color Me Mine
Top Golf
Whiskey Row
W Hotel Lobby Bar and Rooftop
Camelback Trail
Spring Training Baseball
Suns Game & Downtown Phoenix

This is why I love this city! There is so much you can do and see. I will always make a stop at The Rusty Spur. That is my place. It is the “Oldest Saloon in Old Town” and TINY. They take song requests so make sure to bring cash. The Coach House is the most fantastic at Christmas. I do not recommend hiking Camelback with a hangover but take WATER. There are typically a lot of people, tourists included, on the trail so be prepared to wait and maneuver around small children and older non-athletic adults, especially if going on a high traffic day. Baseball games have plenty of vendors with local craft beer and food so you can eat and drink at the stadium with Camelback in the background. I splurged on tickets for the Suns game because YOLO so we also ate at the Arena and the food was VERY good. You get there and immediately are led to the lounge where you can have drinks before the game and be escorted to your seat. I think we were in the 7th row. I had way too many GINS. No regrets tho. It only led me to spending extra coin at the gift shop. I just cant help myself. Plan accordingly if ubering from Old Town to Downtown PHX so you have enough time to explore. Now go book your trip and make some memories. XO

Message me your Scottsdale/PHX questions! I will send you the links and info!

welcome to my online health and fitness community

Hey SQUAD! Have I told you that I miss you? I DO! I really, really do! Especially if I used to see you on a weekly basis, I hope each one of you is well and taking extra care of yourself and those you love. I always try and keep it real and I am going to. In the past month I have tried and tried to sit down and write to you. I love to share my life and beauty hacks and all things I am INTO lately. TBH I just couldn’t. I have had a lot on my mind and much to say out of respect for myself but throughout my life I have always tried (and sometimes failed) to take the high road. When I am not able to openly communicate my feelings or opinions I feel I am not being my most authentic and genuine self and that is what I have always felt my community deserves. I take PRIDE in it. I don’t give bullshit reviews, I only do partnerships or cosign products and services that I truly use and love and I won’t give you a watered down version of myself either.

For some reason my life and choices have always felt “controversial”. I am not sure why. Maybe it is because I have zero problem waving my freak flag, voicing my opinions, being honest about my successes AND failures or choosing the path most people wouldn't. Whether it be my entrepreneurial endeavors, career choices, posted photos or videos, divorce, friendships and relationships, I feel judgement and disappointment from an audience I have made up in my head, literally made up in my head. As human beings, we are programmed from a young age to think, act, say, do what is “right”. Not sure about you but I don’t have any plans on changing and there is quite a bit I COULD say on all of it. The only thing I am going to say right now is that if this is ringing true to you keep doing what you are doing. The only person who decides what is “right” for you is in fact YOU.

While I was remodeling my house over the past month I was too tired to keep up with a consisent workout routine and most of the time my kitchen was way too dirty to cook in. I was eating like a contractor for two weeks and now I feel like sh*t and I look like it too. Oops. I always go back to smoothies when I need to check myself and I found one that is really YUMMY and doesn’t require complicated ingredients or 15 superfood powders. I highly recommend and will post the recipe from Be Well By Kelly below. Make it, trust me.

caramel apple pie smoothie

  • 1 Serving vanilla protein powder

  • 1/2 Large Date (or one small) - I skipped this.

  • 1/4 Green Apple - I used the whole apple because Green Apples don’t have a lot of natural sugar anyway and apples don’t stay fresh…

  • 2 Tbsp. MCT Oil or Almond Butter

  • 1 tbsp Flax Seed

  • 2 cups unsweetened Nut Milk

fitness

Let’s talk about Isaac Boots and Torch’d! He is SO fun and his workouts are FREE on IG. I laugh the entire time. He goes live everyday at 11 am EST and the class is roughly 45 min long. Think dance conditioning with your own body weight and a mat. My favorite part of the workout is when he cues the Rinna to pay tribute to the one and only Lisa. Yes, I watch the RHOBH. Most of the time famous celebs are chiming in and commenting and if it’s good enough for Kelly Ripa’s ass it is good enough for me, MMMMK. Link here to a fantastic article from InStyle that describes him perfectly. He will be calling you baby, commenting inappropriately and talking to his sweater wearing poodle the entire time. Sign me UP!

fun

Not sure how much “fun” I have actually been lately but I am working. on. it. Allow me to introduce Patrón Popsicles. These will really take the edge off my friends, you can make them as pretty or simple as you want. One recommendation, make sure to not make them too boozy (is that a thing?) otherwise they won’t freeze. Here is what you need:

  • Grapefruit or any other kind of juice you like. I used fresh squeezed but you could also get store-bought and switch up the flavor to watermelon-limeade if that is your jam.

  • Fresh squeezed lime juice

  • Blanco Patrón OR any other clear tequila.

  • Raspberries or another fruit are optional.

Ok, listen. I am not good with measurements but I juiced an entire bag of grapefruits and about 6 limes and then added 5 shots of tequila. I got THESE popsicle molds from amazon but wish I would have got these. :) DM me your pics!

House Remodel

For those of you following my projects are COMPLETE! I had four mental breakdowns, cried more times than I can count, ruined my nails, etc. Small sacrifices when it comes to the final product. I am in LOVE and I should have done this a long time ago. HMU if you want product deets, I am posting before and after pics below. Top is after, just WAIT until you see what I did outside in the next VLOG.

Until Next Time

If no one has told you lately you’re doing amazing and your ass looks pretty great too! XO

welcome to my online health and fitness community

WEEK THREE! How is everyone feeling? Not sure why I am including exclamation points. In the spirit of always keeping it real I am going to. I feel like SH*T. I am borderline depressed. I miss my friends, clients and my normal day to day routine. I am THIS close to finishing up all. of. Netflix. I am nostalgic for traveling and cocktail hours of days gone by. I called up one of my girlfriends the other day and said, “What I wouldn’t give to be enjoying a Broadway Babe Martini right now!”, if you know you know. Maybe it’s time to order a cocktail shaker.

fuel

Let’s chat about Tuesday’s at Tyler’s. I really don’t want to rub it in but upon tasting what I prepared the comments were 1: OMG 2. I don’t deserve to eat this meal. It really was that good. For those of you who joined us, thank you! I know many of you wanted to but couldn’t due to time issues, other commitments etc. I want to know, would a format of prep in the early afternoon so you can pop in the oven dinner time be better? That’s what I am thinking for next time. Give us your feedback and keep an eye out for more! Just going to tease you with the final moments of our last class.

fitness

I haved moved on from my Melissa Wood Health workouts. TBH they got boring and weren’t giving me that Tracy Andersonness that I was after. Before I became a coach at [solicore] I had been doing TA workouts at home for years, eight years. I didn’t have the time anymore with coaching but she does a live master class and uploads content weekly and nothing, not even [solidcore] made the changes to my body that her workout did. I do feel exercise should be about what makes you feel good and what works for you individually taking genetics and body type into account. As a former dancer TA workouts really click with my muscles and the range of motion just feels good. She is a little crazy and it’s hard to get used to but you get a free 14 day trail if you want to try! I will be doing these workouts with walking and spinning to try and stay sane and healthy through quarantine! Learn more about Tracy here!

fun

I have been slacking on my masking but I did blow dry my hair yesterday and I felt like a brand new gal. That was fun! I am going stir crazy, I have set way too many flight alerts for airline tickets. If I can at least know there is something to look forward to on the other side of this I might get by. I have also organized all of my favorite amazon purchases into one amazing place for you. I will continue to update and I do not have an affiliate link so I get paid zero coins for endorsing. It’s fun peeking into other peoples pantry’s and cabinets, isn’t it? Happy Shopping!

welcome to my online health and fitness community

We made it to week TWO! How is everyone feeling? I am now binging Housewives of Beverly Hills and spending my nights scrolling through my camera roll reminiscing about my travel adventures of days past. I took this photo in January when I was in Scottsdale and I can’t tell you how grateful I am for the time away and how much I will never take for granted again. Even meeting a friend for coffee has become a distant memory.

Here we go. Buckle UP! Just like last week, here is what I have been doing to stay sane and moderately healthy during corona quarantine!

fuel

I am still making my green smoothie every day. I have to be honest, the thought of cooked chicken on lettuce for dinner one more time is enough to send me over the edge. I am ready to start adding more variety and cooked foods because it is seriously getting OLD. Today, as I was driving around and listening to Nicki Minaj, I thought to myself, “I wonder what Chef Tyler is cooking”. TBH this isn’t out of the ordinary as I often think of him, his amazing cusine and how much I MISS HIM. I know you miss him too, I have never been more excited about a project in my life, are you ready for this?! Coming soon, in the next few days soon. Ill be posting more details and how to register ASAP.

I am SORE from my group workouts! I guess that is a good thing. I am still grinding it out on the Peloton and also mixing in workouts with clients at the Capitol. There currently is no set schedule but if you are interested in meet ups join the Accountability Group on Facebook! Keeping connections with clients I usually train 4-5X per week has made a difference mentally. The more “normal” we can keep our routines right now the better. I caved today and stopped at Starbucks for a “Gary”. It was phenomenal. First time I have been there in ten days, #proud. If you haven’t watched “Bradbucks” on Brad Goreski’s IG you. need. to. They are so damn cute!

Missed our most recent meet up? Don’t worry I have you covered. This booty burner will target muscles to failure and you’ll feel it when you try to get out of bed the next day. I usually make up my workouts on the fly so I have tried my best to decipher in “Kim Speak” below:

Skater Jumps - tap the ground. 30 sec slow, 30 sec pick up speed
Squat w lean forward in between reps 30
Skater jumps again 30
Jumping jacks 30
Burpees w pushup 30
High Plank hold
Left leg in to chest and backwards extension 30
Hold knee in 15
Pulse 20
L leg fire hydrant 30
Hold at top and circle 30
Want more? Click here for PART 1 and PART 2.

fun

I have done four face masks this week. FOUR. I have also done at home dermaplanes, tinted my eyebrows myself, deep conditioned my hair, watched endless hours of makeup tutorials... I am walking out of quarantine a better, hotter version than I was before. More on eyebrow tinting later. I am doing my research as the second brow was a little touch and go. I know eyebrows are supposed to look like “sisters”. but after I was done mine looked more like “cousins”. Oops. I am going to make a vlog and show you exactly how to do it. Now that I have washed my face a few times I am in love with them and will probably tint them once a week. I know, I know, I can get microblading but I am too cheap and too indecisive to commit.

0E042F68-5E0A-4281-9D92-2ADDFCF0899B.JPG

Currently using the following:

1. Dermaflash - I really do love this for home use. It does not compare to an actual dermaplane but I’m a fan. If you are thinking to yourself, WTF Coach Kim is shaving her face. Why yes, yes I am and I have taken the peach fuzz off for many, many years now (you have it too if you don’t). My favorite podcast that explains dermaplaning can be found here. Fast forward to the interview… Does anyone have an at home face steamer they love? DM me!

2. Dr. Dennis Gross At Home Peel Pads - You can use these every day to keep that glow and get rid of dull, dead skin. I love these and take them with on vacation to help detox and also use before night out makeup. I have converted most of my girl gang to be fans.

3. Nurse Jamie Face Roller - TBH this has been sitting in my cabinet since I bought it. I have had A LOT of time on my hands so I have started rolling my face while wearing my mask to really push in product. According to the website: The Nurse Jamie Instant UpLift allows you to painlessly sculpt a firmer facial contour from the comfort of your home. The sleek design features a handle with a rotating head covered in 24 precious tourmaline stones that temporarily energize, enhance and lift your skin. With a rhythmic rolling action, this beauty tool improves the tone and texture of your skin to promote a more youthful-looking you. Standby on my thoughts. Rolling my face as I type this.

Thanks for being here, part of my community and for your emails of response last week. I read all of them! Thank you to Sally, Noelle, Jennifer, Shannon, Kathy, Kristin and Kat for all the love! I appreciate each one of you and am counting the days to our cooking class this week! XO

welcome to my online health and fitness community

I was thinking about the best way to maintain a connection with my friends, family and clients while getting through the coming days, weeks and hopefully not months and here it is. You can look for weekly updates from yours truly. If you are not part of my accountability group on Facebook and you are looking for a community to uplift and support you while we weather this storm please join by clicking here.

Let’s get down to business about what I have been doing to stay sane and moderately healthy during this crazy, seriously crazy time!

fuel

If you are anything like me you are not one to plan ahead, especially when it comes to food. This has been particularly difficult as we prepare for the worst but I am mostly sticking to green juice, salads with chicken and pesto for lunch and whatever the hell I want for dinner. #balance. It is important to allow ourselves indulgences so we don’t absolutely go bat shit cray.

P.S. I also roll my eyes when bloggers say “green juice”. You don’t have to make your own, just pick up some SUJA Cold Pressed Greens from your local Sam’s Club.

IMG_2635.jpg

This is one of my go to salads right now. You can meal prep, just don’t mix in the pesto until you are ready to eat. PRO TIP here team, add all the ingredients to a ziploc and literally smush and massage with your hands. There is nothing better than perfectly chopped greens that are evenly coated with all the goodness. Especially if your quinoa is warm and everything starts to melt together a bit. Big food snob here. I make no apologies, I also don’t measure! Here’s what you need.

1. Precooked Chicken. I used Rotisserie from the store. 2. Baby Romaine Mix. Obviously the preference is organic but buy what you can when you can. More on my former unhealthy obsession with not putting chemicals in my body later…3. Cherry Tomatoes. 4. Quinoa. 5. Sprinkle of Goat Cheese. 6. Pesto. Basically using this as a dressing. I purchased pre-made pesto with my dad’s Sam’s Club card and have no regrets. Been throwing it in scrambled eggs too!

fitness

I am lucky enough to own a Peloton bike. I have to be honest I have only used their streaming service for spin classes but I hear amazing things about the other guided runs, walks, HIIT and yoga. You can get a free trial right now for 90 days. My username is KIMBER_. Give me a follow so I can follow back and we can track our progress together. I have also been walking outside when possible and streaming weighted pilates workouts from home. I highly, HIGHLY recommend the Melissa Wood Health method if you are looking to sculpt with low impact exercise. Her app is $9.99 per month and you can purchase on the app store. Let me know how you like it! In case you need a bomb playlist I will also be posting a new mix every week and have linked at the end of this post!

0A8B354A-5E91-4BEA-BCE6-1B9CC80194E5.jpg

I have been alternating 30 to 45 min spin sessions with the mat pliates whenever I feel like it. Really want to stress to you all right now that it is important to move your body to supercharge your immune system and keep your respiratory system strong but it is OK if you are feeling anxious and wanting to crawl into a closet and lock the door. Trust me, over the past few days I have been there and I will be there again in maybe the next two hours, two days etc. I have faith and hope that all will be better than before on the other side of this! I can not believe I won’t be spending Sunday’s coaching Arms and Abs with my ride or die crew but I am working on online content and it will be available SOON. Thank you for writing me that you miss that Coach Kim motivation and ass kicking! Some days coaching clients was the only thing that got me through. I miss your faces!

fun

Nothing, I repeat nothing will ever stop us from having fun! If you know me well it is no secret that I love, LOVE Rummikub. You can pick it up at Target or Walmart. It is the best game ever, especially for two people. You know I stocked up on the essentials at my neighborhood liquor store before I was too scared to go. I always try to avoid drinking my calories (because i like to eat them, duh) and I really love a margarita or six but who is counting right now. This is my at home skinny version, it is my obsession and it is way better than Bethenney Frankels IMO. No offense. Also BIG B fan. Cheers squad!

marg.jpg

Coach Kim’s Spicy Grapefruit Margarita

1. Blanco Tequila. Blanco is a very important detail of this drink. Trust me on this. My favorite is Don Julio but Patron, Casamigos, whatever you can get your paws on. Remember, the higher quality the booze the less hungover you will be tomorrow. I read once that a slow three second pour is equal to a shot so I don’t measure and go with that. 2. Soda. This is good with Spindrift Grapefruit Sparkling Water, La Croix Grapefruit, Target also has an off brand grapefruit sparkling water or just plain club soda would be mint guys. Don’t over complicate. 3. Fresh squeezed juice from half a grapefruit per cocktail. 4. Dash of lime juice only if you have it. 5. Sliced jalapeno. Mix and enjoy your Quarantini! Bonus points for who ever tags me and posts on IG! Follow me at kimberlee.sauter.

Thank you for reading and for your messages of support this week in lieu of the announcement [solidcore] made about laying off employees. I will be expanding my online health and fitness community in the coming days and am excited for you to be part of it. You can always reach out to me by emailing here or by text! See you soon! XO

Travel Diary, Las Vegas

COQUETTE DOES VEGAS

I headed to the desert to check out the latest fall lines from our FAVs at the MAGIC Tradeshow at the Mandalay Bay but the company and the adventures made it one I will never forget! Interested in where we went?! You know I am going to share! We stayed at The Aria and it was beautiful, had everything my high maintenance self needed and MORE! The beds were SUPER comfortable AND the pillows which can be a huge deal breaker for me because sleep is so important! They had fantastic rooms, comfy robes, a Pressed Juicery (one of my true loves), Starbucks and an amazing day spa. STAY THERE! You will not regret it! Check out the gallery and itinerary below! Happy travels, take me with when you go! XO

DAY 1

Las Vegas Razor Adventures

We were picked up by a shuttle service at 10:30 AM for our ATV adventure in the desert.. I recommend eating a VERY light breakfast before heading out or taking it with you for the ride. It is roughly a 15 minute drive from the strip but we had to stop at another pick up point for other guests. Roundtrip it took us roughly 30 minutes. I would absolutely do the Razor Adventure again and I KNOW it is an experience that Alex and I will never forget! Check out the videos and pics below! You NEED to check it out next time you are there!

Dinner at The Wynn at SW Steakhouse

I was amazed by the menu options for vegan/vegetarian babes at this place! You can not beat the ambience as it overlooks the beautiful waterfall The Wynn is famous for. This is a perfect spot of a photo op or an after dinner cocktail! I had the mushroom ravioli which was made with... Kite Hill Almond Milk Cream Cheese. BOOM! I know, right?! You ladies know how much I love this stuff. I had to order it and it was delicious! Their menu and portion sizes are huge! I would absolutely recommend, this is a great place to maybe spot some celebs too!

XS at the Wynn

The vibe here was super cool and it was easy to get drinks. There is nothing worse than waiting for a cocktail, am I right ladies? Tick, tock. We had so much fun at the XS and were thankful and grateful for the experience. It will definitely be one that is hard to top and I recommend the XS if your looking for amazing music to add to your playlist. The DJs were fantastic and I was shazamming a majority of the time. I know I am a nerd, don't tell anyone!

DAY 2

MAGIC

I was extremely impressed by the trade show and had so much fun picking out new items for the COQUETTE COLLECTION! I am making some major changes to the store and which brands we will and will not be carrying! I was able to make decisions quickly and my brand reps were super helpful in making sure my orders were made quickly so I could get on with my day! I was nursing a major hangover so I thankfully medicated with a green juice before BUT I had to dig deep. The struggle is sometimes real. We stayed for a few hours. We came, we saw and we conquered! So FUN!

Fashion Show Mall

The Fashion Show should be on every Coquette Babes to do list while in Vegas. I picked up some necessities for Alex at Express and then also went to Zara and Topshop. I would have liked to have stopped at Nordstrom but ran out of time. We stopped for some guac and margs on the patio at El Segundo Sol (tacos and tequila, you can not go wrong even when your paying for bad decisions from the night before).

Zumanity at New York New York

Everyone I was with said this was the best show they have EVER seen in Vegas BUT you know me. Always an opinion. I work in marketing, branding and have a performing arts background. The acts were amazingly talented and beautiful but I feel this show needs to go through a rebranding overhaul and they should hire me to do it! I wanted to see the girls in nude bras and bodysuits with sequins and rhinestones everywhere (imagine Britney in the toxic video, JLO, etc. etc.). It was good but the outfits, hair and make up seem dated. We ended up with seats in the front row which added to the experience and enjoyment, you never knew when you might get a boobie or some guys package in your face so that was NICE! I have been to many shows in Vegas and my favorite is BY FAR is The Beatles LOVE at the Mirage (I cried, many, many times). Jersey Boys is also good, Absinthe I love and so is the one and only Celine!

Dinner at TAO

You honestly can't make a wrong decision here. The first words you see on their website are SPIRITUAL DINING.... yes, that is the type of dining I NEED! Top picks were the vegetable dumplings which were of course hand rolled, the veggie lo mein and also the broccoli with black bean sauce. I wanted to kiss the waiter when he politely asked, "if there were any vegetarian needs he needed to take care of". Why yes, sir. Go. Here. Please.

DAY 3

SPA

My girlfriend really hooked a girl up when she planned this fun little morning and I hope to spend Valentine's Day with her at the Aria Spa every year from now on! I double up on Pressed Juicery and met her (in my robe, didn't want to take it off) in the morning for some girl time. We hit up the 100 Degree Lava Rock, Salt Room, Eucalyptus Steam Room, Cedar Sauna, Hot Tubs and The Rejuvenation Pool. This Place is beautiful, relaxing and a great spot for instagrammy photos. You also NEED to go! I could live in the steam room. Give me all the HEAT!

TOP GOLF

This was my first TOP GOLF experience and I really loved it. I am not good. At all. Sometimes it takes me three tries to actually hit the ball off the tee BUT my group was easy breezy so that helped. I planned on wearing cute boots with a heel but ended up taking them off. Next time I will wear flats.. I guess. Food was good and so were the drinks! If your hubby or boyfriend loves golf you must also do this! It is right off the strip! Try and get on the upper deck if you go! XO

HIGH ROLLER

The HIGH ROLLER was cute and you must make sure you get in a bubble with a bar. They serve drinks all the way through and also provide a shot at the top. This is a great spot for pictures. I would like to go once more at night to see all the pretty lights! They made it extra cute by giving the ladies Valentine flowers.

Dinner at STK at the Cosmo

Basically a club atmosphere while you eat. In my world, heaven. This place was also freakishly awesome and I will be going back. It was fun to be there on Valentine's Day and see all the beauties dressed up on their dates. Vegas is on another level. If you go to any of these restaurants pack PRETTY dresses, shoes and jackets so you don't feel out of place! I recommend the mushroom risotto, crab ravioli and the cloud for dessert.

Message me your VEGAS questions! I will send you the links and info!

COQUETTE TRAVEL DIARY // MIAMI

MIAMI IS ALWAYS A GOOD IDEA

0f55c8ef542ce8e85b6c90f0a7b1bb92--girls-trips-beach-quotes.jpg

Sun, sand and seashells, Miami is SUCH a COQUETTE destination! Whether your in town for work or play it does not disappoint! The vibe and energy are infectious and the people are beautiful! I traveled there in early December and the weather was perfect. Mid 70s to low 80s, the sun obviously felt amazing from being trapped in the cold.

We stayed at the Fontainbleu and the resort is immaculate, not to mention The Bodyguard and many other legendary Hollywood movies were filmed on the property. Que Whitney!

Im sorry, I can't resist a Whitney power ballad. The room was a double queen, the mini bar was great and so were the sleeping amenities. Always need quality beauty rest ladies. They put us in a tower that was farther away from the main lobby than others so definitely request you are near the main entrance if you don't want to walk. We used Uber to get around and it was easy and quick! I also used Uber Eats and became obsessed. Everyone please open your Uber Eats app daily and request they come to our zip code! We need to LIVE! Here's the spots we hit!

SWEAT

BARRYS MIAMI BEACH

BARRY'S BOOTCAMP is quite the religious experience. I have to be honest, I didn't really know what we signed up for except that it would be hard. I knew it was a supermodel South Beach favorite and was hoping to see Kate Upton on the treadmill next to me but had to settle for Coach Wendy. XO, WINDEY! We took class back to back days and had Derek and Patrick as our instructors. Both were good and I creeped them online for more than I would like to admit after. Derek was evidently on tour with Britney Spears at one point and I would have tried a bit harder in his class if I would have known the facts. Basically they set the bar SUPER F*CKING high for boutique fitness. Smoothie bar (nut milks, vegan protein powder), luxury apparel, friendly faces, Oribè amenities in the locker rooms, lockers that actually lock, etc. I felt like we were at Disney World. If you get the opportunity, GO! The class is said to burn 1,000 calories at a time and will maximize strength training and fat loss with interval tread running and floor work. They also refer to their studio as the RED ROOM, oh behave. This place is a must if your looking to earn some bad decisions.

SOUL CYCLE SOUTH BEACH

This place is also a little slice of heaven. If I could have taken class every day I would have. You just can't beat it. I cried roughly 3 times during the workout and Raul our instructor was giving me all the feels. We literally went to SOUL immediately after our Barry's class was over so I was whipping around my sweat soaked pony like it was my job. I can't explain it, I just felt I was with "my people". They were going WILD! Singing, bike dancing, whipping towels above their heads, no one gave a shit what anyone else thought/said. The room is an entire experience for the senses with dimmable colored lights, scented candles, fans, I don't even know what else. It was all perfectly timed with the intense parts of the ride and the song selections. I loved it here and can't wait to go back.

SWIM

My personal preference is ALWAYS beachfront over poolside views. You just can't beat the white sandy beach and turquoise blue water. Make sure to take the essentials to the beach or pool with you including your ID, room key, sunglasses, a comfortable cover up, sweater if during winter months and later in the day, sunnies and sunscreen. A gigantic hat would also take your sun preparedness to another level. My favorite beach cocktail is a skinny marg but if thats not available clear tequila, lime juice and club soda and keep em' coming. I was on the beach every chance I got trying to soak it all in. In the morning I grabbed an almond milk latté and sat watching the sunrise with my morning meditation app. Get Insight on the app store! At sunset I looked for seashells to add to my collection and since I was by myself took pictures of couples romancing on the beach.... Cabana for one?! Ill make Alex go back with me soon.

SHOP

LINCOLN ROAD MALL

We stopped at Lincoln Road Mall for a bit to explore the shopping scene and a little retail therapy. There were lots of cute stops to eat and drink and also a wide range of stores from moderate to high end with some speciality shops mixed in. I have to admit, I don't get as much of a thrill out of shopping while on vacation now that I have the COQUETTE COLLECTION but we hit up the Nike Store, Intermix and Lululemon. I shop for more necessity and see it as more of a waste of time. Give me an hour and I am good! The people watching here was also pretty legit. If your into it I would definitely recommend checking this place out.

BAL HARBOUR SHOPS

We didn't hit up Bal Harbour on our trip but I have been there before and it is a great place for potential celebrity sightings, pure LUXURY and indulgence. Bal Harbour should not be considered a mall, there should me some sort of special more than a mall name for it. It is basically a beautiful open air international shopping destination with stores like Valentino, Balenciaga, Gucci, Louis Vuitton, etc. etc. If that sort of thing makes you uncomfortable, skip it!

SEE & DO

MUSEUM OF ICE CREAM

If you can get tickets to the Museum of Ice Cream, JUST GO! They are notoriously sold out. I am not even sure how to describe it accurately except it is a childhood ice cream, candy sprinkle, color explosion, fantasy come to life. The building is historic and has been turned into a gigantic, art installation all in the name of ice cream. Each room has a different theme and flavor and you get to sample ice cream that is matched to the theme. Highlights for me were the sprinkle pool, key lime ice cream and rooftop ocean views. This place is SUPER instagram worthy. I loved it!

ICEBOX CAFE

We stumbled upon this place after our Barry's workout DAY ONE. They have all kinds of fresh cold pressed juice on the menu and the green juice was much appreciated! The serving sizes were huge and the food is fresh and seasonal. They also have a cake shop.... just saying.

DIRT

DIRT was provided courtesy of UBER Eats and it was super convenient. If your looking for some major food inspo check out their menu online. I could eat at this place 365 days a year! There was so much I wanted to get but not enough time! I will definitely hit this place up if I am ever back! I ordered the Spaghetti Squash Alfredo that was vegan and GF and tried to order the house made Komboucha but it was out. Such a tragedy.

SEND ME YOUR TOP SPOTS SO I CAN CHECK THEM OUT NEXT TIME! XO

COQUETTE COOKS // VEGAN QUESO DIP!

Resist the urge to lick the bowl clean! You have been warned. SO. GOOD. I prefer the butter (kerrygold) but you can make it completely vegan by using earth balance. Enjoy!
